Dell Sheppard cared for my mother Nelida for five years, my mother lovingly referred to Dell as “My Dell”. Dell has an endless love for caregiving, she has strong work ethics, calm demeanor, and is a brilliant decision-maker under stressful times. My mother suffered from Parkinson’s Disease, as well as early dementia, along with many other ailments, she wasn’t an easy-to-care-for patient but Dell always showed a positive, professional, and cheery attitude with my mom. I highly recommend Dell, she became part of our family, very trustworthy, always punctual, and thoughtful. I remember one day I saw Dell placing a warm blanket on my mom’s lap, readying her for a walk around the block in her wheelchair… Dell would tell us that my mom is going for a Sun Bath.

I met Del thru hospice nearly 10 years ago when my Mom had cancer. While my Dad and I were suffering the worst loss of our lives we had Del. My Mother, no easy person to please adored her and her gentle ways. She guided my Dad and I what to expect for people in her state. She was always on time willing to stay extra or change a schedule. My Dad and I are grateful to have had Del for those somber days.
